It promises to be a big week for Denise Hill, who has become a well-
loved and well-known fixture in the Washington, D.C. gospel community
as WKYS 93.9 FM’s Gospel Lady for the last few years. Aside from her
popular Sunday morning show on that Radio One urban format station,
Hill is also known for her hosting duties on XM Satellite Radio’s The
Spirit and Children’s formats.

While maintaining both her XM and Radio One positions, Hill will now
host the new morning show on WLIB 1190 AM that launches on Monday, November 27, 2006, from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. The gospel radio
veteran will also serve as the station's Program Director. “I am
honored to be trusted by God and the management of WLIB with the
responsibility of bringing the gospel and daily inspiration to the
listeners of the world's #1 market,” says Hill. “This is big. I may
have the experience but Christ orchestrated the opportunity and I am
grateful He did.”
