Gospel music's First Lady, Shirley Caesar, will make a special
appearance on NBC's "Today" show on Saturday, December 23, 2006 @ 8:00 a.m. Pastor Caesar is scheduled to perform her holiday classic, "Giving and Sharing."

The year of 2007 marks the 50th anniversary of Caesar's ministry. She
was taking a typing course back in 1957 when she felt the call to
ministry. The next year, she joined the Caravans and her career was
on track. She went solo in 1966 and has never looked back. In 2007,
Caesar will headline the "Sisters in the Spirit" concert tour and
will also release the second CD on her own Shu-Bel Records label. 

Enjoy her latest CD, the Grammy-nominated "I Know
the Truth" (Shu-Bell/Light Records) which features the rousing title
tune with Tonex and the dramatic ballad, "Miracles Still Happen."
