Wanda is a graduate of Mackenzie High School in Detroit, and has a B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from Wayne State University. Wanda has been recognized for leadership in health promotion and community health outreach programs. An expert in the areas of adult mental health, issues of importance to women and crisis incident debriefing, she has shared her expertise at speaking engagements nationally. Wanda is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and CEO of her own company, Health and Business Consultants (HBC). HBC specializes in custom–designed health promotion and business management programs for companies. She is a caring and committed healthcare professional and brings over 20 years of experience as a healthcare provider and educator to New York Gospel.com as our health and fitness writer. In addition, Wanda keeps busy with her grandchildren, and as Director of Christian Education at St. Paul A.M.E. Zion church in Detroit where Dr. Derrick R. Anderson is her pastor.
