Gospel SuperFest Moves to Atlanta

Rev. Timothy Wright's new CD debuts at #13 with Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

The "Godfather of Gospel Music," Rev. Timothothy Wright released his latest CD entitled "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" on February 27, 2007.

"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" debuted on Billboard's gospel chart at #13.

MUSIC CITY, USA – February 20, 2007 – Nominations were announced today for the 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards (www.doveawards.com) by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) with newcomers leading the field alongside established artists while several producers and songwriters also earned multiple nominations.

Kirk Franklin Takes Home 2 Grammy Awards

The 49th Annual Grammy Awards was held last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.  The big gospel winner was Kirk Franklin who took home awards in the "Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album" and "Best Gospel Song" categories.

On January 28th, 2007, BET’s Celebration of Gospel featured gospel and R&B artists as well as Hollywood's finest. The 2-hour annual spectacular is back with its 2007 edition highlighted by spiritually uplifting performances from some of the biggest names in gospel and mainstream music as well as a heartfelt tribute to Tyler Perry.
Reports on local news stations in Atlanta indicate that a fire destroyed the DeKalb County home of gospel music choirmaster Ricky Dillard Tuesday morning, according to the choirmaster’s neighbors.
(ATLANTA, GA - January 22, 2007) - Atlanta-based entertainment production company, Results, Inc. today announced the confirmation of comedian Cedric The Entertainer as co-host of the 8th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. Results, Inc. president, Melanie Few, the event's founder and executive producer, made the announcement. Additionally, Few announced that Kyle Bowser, veteran producer of television and live events will serve as an Executive Producer of this year's event.
