Jay White is a musical genius; vocalist, musician, writer and producer out of New York City, with a vision to reach souls through the gifts and talents with which he’s been blessed.  Born into a musical family who are all geniuses in their own right Jay is doing what comes natural.  His father, a preacher and musical veteran has been a major influence in his musical path.  At the age of three, he took interest in the drums; this was the beginning of his musical journey.  After a bout of denying his talent and having his dad constantly encourage him to sing, by the age of 14 Jay began to embrace his gift and knew he really wanted to sing.  Over time his natural born talent took over and he began singing and writing all at once.  Honing his craft in church and family gatherings he began singing and playing other instruments. Today, he teaches, performs and gives back to the community through his participation in various festivals, fundraisers and other charitable events.   Jay White is preparing to become one of Gospel Industries brightest stars.

His ministry goes beyond the music, fame or fortune it’s bigger than that, its right here right now, as his season is fast approaching he wants to fulfill the deep hunger among young people for a pure and sincere ministry.  “If I can just touch someone, just one person, this life is not in vain.”  Armed with a sincere heart and inspiring music Jay plans to reach his audience through the sincere messages in his songs which speak to the heart and soul, inspiring change.

Jay stands transparent among us with the desire to show people that it’s not about perfection but about faithfulness.  “We are all striving to be better so I encourage the world to lift up one another and walk in a path of righteousness.”

This album is loaded with smooth silky vocals over an abundance of jazz and funky melodic beats.  Jay plans to reach his audience through the sincerity of his music.  As a young Christian he is dedicated and chained to the will of Christ and wants to bring the heart of worship where it truly belongs.  “To understand the genius of Jay White is to truly know the Lord.”
